Crete

Crete is the largest Greek island, with an area of around 8,450 km² and a population of over 620,000 people, making it the most populous island in Greece. It’s known for its dramatic landscapes, from rugged mountains and deep gorges to sandy beaches, as well as ancient sites like the Palace of Knossos and a rich culinary tradition.
